The 3rd Annual TheServerSide Java Symposium-Europe is being held 18-20 June 2008 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague.

Last year, attendees came to TSSJS-Europe from 33 countries! The official language of the Czech Republic is Czech. All presentations at TSSJS-Europe will be made in English.

What does it cost?

What forms of payment does TSSJS-Europe accept?
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Check, or Wire/Bank Transfer. If you select to pay by Check or Wire/Bank Transfer, payment is due within 30 days of registration and must be received by 17 June 2008. Please contact Tracey West for Wire/Bank Transfer details. How do I make changes to my registration?
You can login and make changes to your registration through this registration page. Use your login (email address) and password that was created while registering. For any additional registration questions, please contact Tracey West.

How do I get a receipt and confirmation after registering?
When registering online you will have the opportunity to print confirmation of your registration. You will also receive a confirmation email with registration details and payment information.

What are Fireside Chats?
Fireside Chats, (formerly called Birds of a Feather sessions (BOFs)), are small, intimate and informal sessions that discuss interests of the Java community. There are no slides allowed at FireSide Chats, only discussion.

What do I do about a hotel?
The Clarion Congress Hotel is offering discounted rates for Java Symposium attendees for reservations booked by Monday, May 19.

What if I have to cancel?
You can cancel your registration by going back into the account you created when registering for TSSJS-Europe. Sign in here. Registration refund requests received before 9 May 2008 are entitled to a full refund. Requests received between 10 May 2008 and 17 June 2008 will be granted 25% of the paid registration fee. No cancellation requests will be accepted after 17 June 2008. Requests for refund must be sent via email to Tracey West. Substitutions are allowed with written permission from the original registrant.

Are there any discounts available?

  • Yes! Are you a past attendee of TheServerSide Java Symposium? Contact Tracey West for your discount code.
  • Group Registration Rebate: Companies sending 5 employees can receive a $500 rebate, while companies sending 10 or more employees can receive a $2,000 rebate. Requests for rebates must be received VIA EMAIL by 23 June 2008, to Tracey West.
  • Refer-a-Friend Reward: Attend with 2 colleagues and get a $100 gift card. All registrants will receive an email that outlines the Refer-a-Friend program details and includes a special referral code to give to friends and colleagues. Credit can only be given to referrals that result in registration and cannot be applied to anyone already registered. This offer cannot be combined with any discounts, and cannot be combined with the Group Registration Rebate. Payment will be made via Paypal by 20 July 2008.
  • University Discount: With proper ID, university students, faculty and staff members are eligible for a discount – contact Tracey West for more information.
